Actually it was an abundance of things that inspired this. From childhood well into adulthood I've always had questions regarding the validity in many beliefs we've all grown accustomed to. As a kid, I was the one always asking "why?" when told things had to be a certain way. I also grew up on things like Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Ghost Whisperer, and Cold Case. As an adult, after waking up in a morgue, you really start to question things then. So I guess my greatest inspiration is life and the mysteries it holds.
