That’s such a profound and thought-provoking experience to draw from. The idea of an afterlife shaped by personal belief is fascinating, offering both comfort and mystery. Giving your characters that agency makes for a compelling narrative. How has writing this series changed your own perspective on life and the beyond?

This question was asked by D.T. in a facebook group I'm in. This is my answer:

It's actually helped me process a lot. Helped me realize that some things happen for a reason, and when you intervene with what some would call divine intervention, like Clay so often does, it can drastically alter what was meant to happen all along and affect not only you but those around you as well. I know that concept/belief is already so popular but we often ignore it in the name of free will along with those who believe: "not my life, not my problem" Another theme I touch base on. The main thing about this series is we don't know what will happen, we can't possibly fathom what will happen no matter how great ones pattern recognition skills are. Just gotta live in the present and enjoy what you do have. Especially if there's a chance that all you come to know during this time can be forgotten and left behind in a blink.
